The D1CEJ series (IP44) electromagnetic-braked three-phase induction motor (hereinafter referred to as the motor) is a derivative product of the D1C series (IP55) three-phase induction motor, featuring an additional DC electromagnetic brake installed between the fan and end cover. This motor series is widely used in various types of machinery across industries such as construction, food processing, printing, rubber manufacturing, chemical engineering, packaging, and woodworking—applications that demand quick and precise stopping. The motors in this series offer high efficiency, energy savings, and low noise levels. Their mounting dimensions and power ratings fully comply with both IEC and DIN 42673 standards. They are equipped with Class F insulation, while the main motor boasts an IP55 protection rating, and the electromagnetic brake itself is rated for IP44 protection.

Product Description

The D1CEJ series (IP44) electromagnetic-brake three-phase induction motor (hereinafter referred to as the motor) is a derivative product that features an additional DC electromagnetic brake installed between the fan and end cover of the D1C series (IP55) three-phase induction motor.

This series of motors is widely used in various types of machinery—such as construction, food processing, printing, rubber, chemical, packaging, and woodworking—that require fast and precise stopping.

This series of motors features high efficiency, energy savings, and low noise levels. Their mounting dimensions and power ratings fully comply with both IEC and DIN 42673 standards. The motors are equipped with Class F insulation, while the main unit boasts an IP55 protection rating, and the electromagnetic brake is rated for IP44 protection. Cooling is achieved via IC411, and the motors operate continuously at a rated voltage of 380V and a frequency of 50Hz under S1 duty cycle.

This series of motors should be used under the following conditions:

1. The altitude should not exceed 1000 meters. Ambient air temperature varies with the season but does not surpass 40°C, with a minimum temperature of -15°C. If the motor is used at altitudes above 1000 meters or in conditions exceeding 40°C, it must be operated according to the requirements specified in GB 755.

2. The AC power supplied to the brake must be of constant frequency and constant voltage; variable-frequency power sources are not permitted.

3. The D1CEJ series electromagnetic-brake three-phase induction motors share all mounting dimensions—with the exception of the overall length—identical to those of the D1C series motors.
