YZP Series Variable-Frequency Speed-Controlled Three-Phase Induction Motor for Lifting and Metallurgical Applications
- Commodity name: YZP Series Variable-Frequency Speed-Controlled Three-Phase Induction Motor for Lifting and Metallurgical Applications
- Product Description
-
Y The ZP series of variable-frequency, speed-regulated three-phase induction motors for metallurgical and lifting applications are designed to operate using a variable-frequency drive as their power source. When paired with a frequency converter, this system enables stepless speed control, helping to achieve energy savings and automated process management.
Thanks to its high efficiency, wide speed control range, excellent precision, stable start-and-stop operation, and strong overload capacity, it is particularly well-suited for applications requiring variable-frequency speed control, short-term or intermittent cyclic operations, and frequent starts and stops.
The electric motor meets the basic technical requirements specified in IEC 34-1 and GB 755 standards, and its mounting dimensions comply with the international IEC 71 standard. Additionally, the motor can be equipped with optional accessories such as thermal protectors, heaters, encoders, electromagnetic brakes, overspeed switches, and tachogenerators, ensuring it perfectly matches users' specific application needs.
● Adapts to the high carrier frequency voltage output of inverters.
● Rated voltage: 380V, rated frequency: 50Hz.
● Insulation class F, with protection ratings of IP54 and IP55.
● Speed control range: 3 Hz – 100 Hz; constant torque operation from 3 to 50 Hz, and constant power operation from 50 to 100 Hz.
● Altitude not exceeding 1000m, with relative humidity no higher than 90%.
● Cooling Method: Frame sizes 112–160M1 feature self-ventilated cooling (IC411), while frame sizes 160M2–355 use externally ventilated cooling (IC416).
● Frame numbers H180 and below use a Y connection, while frame numbers H200 and above use a Δ connection.
● At rated voltage and frequency, it can withstand an overload of twice the rated torque for 1 minute.
The electric motor is suitable for intermittent, periodic duty cycles. Depending on the nature of the load, the motor's duty cycle is classified as follows:
1. Short-Time Operation (S2): Operates at a constant load for a specified duration, stopping and de-energizing briefly before thermal equilibrium is reached, allowing the motor to cool down again until the temperature difference between the motor and the cooling medium falls within 2 K.
2. Intermittent Cyclic Operation (S3): Operates in a series of identical work cycles, each consisting of a period of constant-load operation followed by a period of shutdown and power interruption. However, these periods are short enough that the motor does not have time to reach thermal equilibrium, and the starting current during each cycle has no significant impact on temperature rise.
3. Intermittent Periodic Duty with Starting (S4): Operates in a series of identical work cycles, each consisting of a start-up period, a constant-load operation phase, and a shutdown/energy-off period—but these intervals are so brief that the motor doesn’t have enough time to reach thermal equilibrium.
4. Intermittent Periodic Duty with Electric Braking (S5): Operates in a series of identical duty cycles, each consisting of a start-up period, a constant-load operation phase, and a shutdown and power-off interval—but these intervals are so brief that the motor does not have enough time to reach thermal equilibrium.
